Outline of Research at the Start	ALS患者に対して肺容量リクルートメント療法（Lung volume recruitment therapy）の効果を検証する研究となっている。肺容量リクルートメント療法は肺の弾性力の維持、無気肺の改善を目的とした訓練であり、ALS診療ガイドラインでも明記されているが、その効果についての研究は少ない。研究の内容としては、ALSと診断を受けた患者に対して、肺容量リクルートメント療法を指導し、貸与することで在宅でも実施していただく。３か月おきにフォローアップし、呼吸機能やALSFRS-Rなどを評価する。
