Outline of Research at the Start

本研究課題では，地域で自立して暮らす70歳代高齢者に起こる転倒に影響する因子を明らかにする．プレフレイルは日常生活を遂行するための身体機能・認知機能が維持されている状態であるが，心身機能「予備力が低下し始めている」した状態と捉えると，状況やその時の感情の状態によって，普段では起こらない「偶発性の高い」転倒を経験していると推測している．そのため，遂行機能や歩行パラメーターだけでなく，自律神経の指標となる「瞳孔径の拡大」に着目し，今まで「偶々」で片付けられていた転倒の要因を新たな観点から分析，解釈する．過去の検討において，「瞳孔径の拡大」から将来の転倒を予測しようとした試みは見当たらない．
