Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、骨格筋と腹部臓器の超音波画像から得られる異所性脂肪を分析し、体内脂肪の過剰蓄積への食事や運動習慣の関連を明らかにする。
栄養面において、特に糖質の過 取による脂肪の体 蓄積が進行すると生活習慣病のリスクファクターとなる。筋や臓器などに蓄積する異所性脂肪は、脂肪の過蓄積を示すが、脂肪の過 蓄積に影響すると考えられる普段の食事や運動習慣と異所性脂肪レベルがどのように関係するかの詳細は明らかになっていない。そこで、本研究では、地域高齢者のコホートにおいて、下肢と腹部の超音波画像から骨格筋（以下、筋）および肝 の輝度を計測し、食習慣や運動能力と異所性脂肪の蓄積レベルとの関連を明らかにする。
