Outline of Research at the Start

AFOの不適合や破損があっても適切な診療にアクセスできていない、装具難民の存在が指摘されている一方で、その実態は明らかではない。この「装具難民」の実態を疫学調査で明らかにすることは本研究がはじめてのものとなる。
生活期脳卒中患者に対する定期的かつ適切なAFOの診療が下肢機能・歩行能力の改善につながるというエビデンスも明らかではなく、装具外来による診療が歩行機能に与える効果を検証する本研究がはじめてのものとなる。
本研究はこれらの検証によりいわゆる装具難民を救うための生活期リハビリテーション治療の提供体制を構築するための基礎となるエビデンスを確立することを目的とする。
