Outline of Research at the Start

COPDでは、呼吸機能低下に加え骨格筋量減少や栄養障害がみられる。我々はこれまでにCOPD患者に対する呼吸リハビリテーション（運動療法）が腸内細菌叢の多様性獲得に寄与すること、その過程に骨格筋から産生されるマイオカインが関連することを明らかにしてきた。COPDの栄養障害はSMI(骨格筋指標)・BMI・体脂肪の体成分から、cachexia型、sarcopenia型、sarcopenic obesity型、obesity型などに分類される。本研究では栄養障害フェノタイプ層別化により最適なリハビリテーションを確立する。
