今回の研究では、スポーツ種目と成長期のスポーツ障害に着目し、様々なスポーツを行ってきたアスリートの過去の成長の記録とスポーツ障害の記録より、スポーツ種目による身体成長の違いや、個々の成長時期やパターンがスポーツ障害に与える影響について検討し、スポーツ種目や個々の成長によるスポーツ障害のリスクを把握する
