本研究の目的は、ハムストリング肉ばなれに対する超音波ガイド下PRP療法の有効性を明らかにすることである。PRP療法の有効性が明らかになれば、肉ばなれ治療の選択肢が広がり、治療にかかる時間や費用も削減される可能性が期待され、日本そして世界のスポーツ医療に大きく寄与すると考える。
