Outline of Research at the Start

運動時の呼吸困難感は，疲労に伴う自覚症状の顕著なものである．ところが，呼吸困難感のメカニズムについては解明が進んでいない．
一方，暑熱環境ではより強い呼吸困難感を感じると多くの選手から聞く．そこで，本研究課題では①暑熱環境が呼吸困難感を起こす因子であるという仮説を検証し，②呼吸困難感を減少させるために有効な方策を検討し，あわせて③呼吸困難感（主観的評価）と化学受容器の反応性（客観的評価）とが関連するかを検討する．本研究は，複雑なメカニズムを有する呼吸困難感という重要な課題を温度刺激の観点から見直すものである．
