Outline of Research at the Start

脂肪酸結合タンパク質4 (FABP4)は主に脂肪酸輸送や脂肪分解などに関与するタンパク質である．血中FABP4の過剰な増加は，代謝機能の悪化や代謝疾患の発症と関連することが広く知られている．一方，血中FABP4は急性運動より増加するが，運動による血中FABP4増加の役割や意義はいまだ明らかになっていない．本研究を通じて，運動により生じる血中FABP4応答の意義を解明し，将来的に血中FABP4を生体内のバイオマーカーとして臨床応用することを目指す．
