Outline of Research at the Start	利き手は巧みな動作が可能であり、筋力も非利き手より優れている。一方、非利き手については、たとえば両手を使ってビンの蓋を開けるときなどに、利き手の動作に合わせて柔軟に運動を調節する能力が高いことがわかっている。このように運動能力には左右差があるが、感覚能力にも左右差があるのだろうか。この研究では、感覚の精度（正確に感じ取る能力）と感度（小さな変化を感じ取る能力）に着目して、利き手と非利き手の感覚能力の違いを明らかにするとともに、運動感覚の左右差がどのような機能的意義を持っているのかを検討する。
