Outline of Research at the Start

小学校低学年から競技選手として活動することが多い競泳では、競技記録が長期間停滞した場合、競技の継続にネガティブな感情を抱き、結果的に競技を離脱するジュニア選手が少なくない。
そこで本研究では、ジュニア選手の競技記録およびレース分析データと身体の形態的要素について横断的・縦断的調査を実施し、成長期に特有の競技記録停滞の要因を解明することを目的とする。本研究から得られた競泳レース分析データと形態的要素に関する科学的な学術成果は、ネガティブな感情を伴う競技からの離脱を防ぎ、競技を長期間にわたって意欲的に取り組むためのエビデンスとして、競技の指導現場に活用されることを目指す。
