Outline of Research at the Start

申請者らは、生体電気インピーダンス法によって得られるPhase Angle（PhA、位相角）が、性別、年齢、四肢骨格筋指数とは独立して筋質と関連することを見出し、PhAはサルコペニア診療において有用な評価指標になり得ることを報告した。しかし、日本人におけるPhAの性別・年齢別の基準値、上肢・下肢別PhAの測定意義、PhAと生活習慣病の重症度や臨床アウトカムとの関連など、未だ不明な点が多い。本研究では、生活習慣病診療におけるPhAの測定意義を明らかにし、PhAの臨床応用を目指す。
