Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、マウス動物実験モデルを用いて、パラアミノ安息香酸（PABA）制限（欠乏）食が、三大重要血液寄生原虫感染症であるマラリア、バベシア症、トリパノソーマ症の重症度や致死率に与える影響を比較解析し、同時に、宿主（感染動物）の免疫系に与える影響、宿主の腸内細菌叢に与える影響を解析し、PABA制限（欠乏）食がこれら感染症の制御、治療や予防に用いることができるか明らかにしていこうとするものである。
