Outline of Research at the Start

高齢者において、特に収縮能の保たれた心不全患者が増加しており、健康寿命の延伸を妨げている。心不全発症の環境要因としては、栄養摂取の差異、運動習慣、飲酒習慣などがあるが多くの因子が交絡し解明は容易ではない。一卵性双生児では遺伝要因は共通のため、心不全の発症に関連する環境要因を特定することが容易となる。本研究では、大阪大学ツインリサーチセンターに登録されている患者の中で、80歳以上の高齢者の一卵性双生児ペア26組を対象に、NT-proBNP、心エコー検査を追加施行して心不全の有/無のペアを抽出し、データを機械学習で解析することで心不全発症に影響を与える環境要因を同定する。
