Outline of Research at the Start

形式言語理論ではこれまで言語の様々な「近似」概念が考えられてきた．
近年，申請者は C 可測 性 (C-measurability) という測度論的なアイディアに基づいた新たな「近似」概念を提案した．
ここで C は言語の族(例えば「正規言語全体」や「文脈自由言語全体」など)を表し，「言語 L が C 可測である」とは直感的には C の言語の列で L が内側からも外側からもいくらでも近似できることを意味する．
本研究計画では，これら可測性の決定可能性をより精密化・ 一般化することを目標とする．
また，得られた可測性の決定可能性を文字列検索やモデル検査などの決定問題に対して応用できないか模索する．
