Outline of Research at the Start

本研究の問いは、視覚障害者がセーリングにおいて健常者と同等の体験を得られるかという点である。本研究の目的は視覚に依存せずヨットを操船できる感覚代行技術を開発し、視覚障害者が安全で自立したセーリングを楽しめるようにすることである。風向や針路の変化など視覚的手がかりを音声で提示し、その有効性を実証することで、障害者が視覚なしにセイル操作を行い、セーリング普及と社会参加およびQoL向上を図る。さらに、共生的社会の実現に寄与し、国際的観点からも持続可能なモビリティやスポーツのアクセシビリティ向上に貢献する。これにより、障害者と健常者がともに楽しむスポーツ環境の可能性を広げることが期待される。
