Outline of Research at the Start

翻訳対象の音声に関連するテキスト（関連テキスト）が存在する状況での音声翻訳（ST）の高度化を目指す。音声翻訳時には関連テキストが存在する場面が多々ある。例えば、会議中の発言を翻訳する際、その会議での配布資料は関連テキストとなる。関連テキストは、頑健な音声認識、翻訳時の曖昧性解消、ユーザや場面に適した翻訳などに役立つと思われる。しかし、通常のSTは翻訳対象の音声のみから翻訳を行い、関連テキストは活用しない。そこで本研究では、翻訳対象の音声と共に関連テキストも入力とし、関連テキストを活用するST技術を実現する。そして、関連テキストによりSTの性能が向上することを実験により実証する。
