Outline of Research at the Start

本研究の目的は、意識の機能のモデル化のための要素技術（I. 情報の絞り込み／切替機能、II. 実行機能、特に、指定通りに推論を実行する機能）の開発である。これを通して、意識の機能を備えたAIの実現と、意識の理解に貢献したい。開発する意識の機能により、新しい状況への対応、筋道だった推論、正しさの保証、動作の説明を可能にして、AIの活用先を大きく広げる。指定通りの推論は、現時点の生成AIは苦手であるが、他の動物と比べた場合のヒトの知的な処理の特徴であることから、本研究では最重要課題であると位置づけた。
