Outline of Research at the Start

里山里海は、日本の自然-文化的景観と生物多様性を象徴する重要な地域であるが、人口減少や少子高齢化、農林漁業の衰退が管理放棄や再野生化を引き起こし、生態系に深刻な影響を与えている。能登半島はその課題が顕著に現れる地域であり、再野生化は多様性の高い生息環境を生む可能性もある。本研究では、能登半島をモデル地域として人口減少と災害が管理放棄に及ぼす影響、生物多様性への影響を調査し、里山里海管理の課題解明と提言を行う。
