Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、少子高齢化と人口減少が進む日本社会における「幸福度」に焦点を当て、地域別のWell-being指標の開発を目的とする。現行の国際的幸福度指標は主に欧米の価値観に基づいており、文化的背景が異なる東アジア、特に日本に適用することは不適切との指摘がある。そこで本研究では、日本特有の文化的背景に適した地域別Well-being指標を開発するため、大規模アンケート調査から得られる主観的幸福度・居住環境評価と、全国規模の地理空間情報に基づく客観的評価を統合する。これにより主観と客観の評価に乖離が生じる自治体に注目し、地域ごとの特性やニーズを踏まえた具体的な政策提言を行うことを目標とする。
