Outline of Research at the Start

COVID-19の世界的蔓延後、栄養不良に陥る人々が世界的に顕在化している。そのため途上国の農業開発においても貧困削減と同時にこの栄養不良問題の解消が求められている。いわば食の貧困問題とも呼ぶべき問題に注目が集まっているのである。しかし、農村地域における農産物の生産と消費に深く関わり、そして近年大きく変化している流通面からの研究例は数少ない状況にある。そこで本研究では伝統的な流通システムを基軸として流通の近代化が進むインドネシアを対象に、流通の近代化が人々の栄養摂取状態に与える影響を定量的に明らかにする。
