Outline of Research at the Start

英領時代に導入されたインドの土地登記制度は今なお複雑かつ煩雑である。経済が発展するなかで土地の利用方法も大きく変化しており、登記制度改革の必要性が2000年頃には広く認識されるようになった。しかし、改革には膨大な行政コストや社会的摩擦が伴い遅々として進んでいない。そこで、本研究では、インドの土地登記制度の特徴を検討し、その歴史や運用で問題となっている点を整理し、さらに改革の方向性と現状とを、他国と比較しつつ考察する。
