Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、バングラデシュ首都ダッカでインフォーマル部門の仕事に従事する若者たちを対象に、彼らがもたらす社会変動を検討する。現在のバングラデシュでは、限定的なホワイトカラー職とアパレル産業などグローバル企業下の不安定な労働のはざまで、若者たちは「今より良い職」を求めて、短期的な移動を繰り返しながらさまざまなインフォーマル部門職を展開している。こうした彼らの働き方と生き方こそが、当該社会の変化を反映し、今後の変化の方向性を決める大きな要素となることだろう。
