Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、仏領南太平洋において独立を目指す独立派、フランスにとどまることを求める反独立派の間で生じている紛争状態に関して、1988年-1998年（マティニオン協定）及び続く20年間のヌーメア協定過程後の、着地先と紛争解決策について聞き取り調査を行い、「紛争解決に占める代表の役割」を明らかにする。また、ニューカレドニアにフランスと同様の被選挙人・行政職に関するパリテ原則が適用され、先住民・移住者で女性地方政治家の視点の多様性から対話チャネルが広がり紛争解決に向けて影響が及んだと仮説を立て、紛争を解決へと進めている「代表制」の役割に検討を加え、翻って、日本における女性政治参加を促す制度設計を探る。
