Outline of Research at the Start

現代の戦争は、民間人の動員による総力戦体制によって行われる。それゆえ各国の＜軍事＞を包括的に理解するためには、民間防衛体制と一般社会の軍事化の検討が不可欠である。本研究は、社会学や文化人類学の知見を活かして現代台湾社会の軍事化の諸相を明らかにする。台湾を事例として研究することによって、欧米中心主義的に概念化がなされてきた「軍事化」や「民軍関係」を相対化し、再理論化することを目指す。
