Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、登山観光と資源管理（登山道）をめぐる「オーバーユース（overuse）」の問題へのアプローチとして、観光学の視点から見た登山者の行動特性に着目して、オーバーユースが発生する各登山ルートにおいて登山者の行動メカニズムを解明することを目的とする。具体的には、１）全国の百名山における観光動向の現状を把握、２）近畿都市圏からの観光利用が一定数ある西日本の百名山を事例地域として、各選択ルートにおける登山者の観光行動の特性と発生メカニズムを検討する。その結果を踏まえたうえで、３）観光との関係性から、登山道の資源管理をめぐる問題に向けた指針や課題を検討する。
