Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、おみやげを通じて共有される非日常の記憶と観光経験の在り方について、質的／量的双方の実証調査をもとに考察する。近年、国内外で観光みやげ／スーベニアを対象とした研究が多数蓄積されているが、「おみやげ（土産）＝その土地の産物＝地域文化の消費」という図式を自明の前提としているため、必ずしも地域の産物や文化と関係なくおみやげを通じて共有される記憶や経験については十分に検討されていない。そこで本研究では、国内外の研究においてブラックボックスとなっていたこの側面に焦点を当てることによって、国内外の研究を接合するとともに、観光みやげ／スーベニア研究に新たな研究領域を開拓することを試みる。
