Outline of Research at the Start

本研究ではコミュニティ・ツーリズム(Community-based Tourism：以下、CBT)に着目し、タンザニア連合共和国での事例を研究対象とする。個人によるライフストーリー(以下、LS)の「語り」を通じて、個人と社会の関係性を新たな角度から捉え直し、観光社会学の視点からCBTがもたらす「発展」の実相を明らかにすることを目的とする。文献研究と現地インタビュー調査により、①CBT事業開始以降の社会変容を確認し、②主たるアクターのLSの「語り」を元にCBTが与える個人レベルでの変化や影響を把握したうえで、③個人の経験が地域社会の変容・発展に与える影響や可能性、限界等について検討する。
