Outline of Research at the Start	急激な社会情勢の変化の中で、ウェルネスー心身が良好な状態にあることの価値が高まっている。温泉はウェルネスを支える貴重な地域資源であり、欧州の温泉地では、農作物の生産や健康的な食事、森林浴などのプログラム、空間デザイン等地域全体でウェルネスの増進に取り組んでいる例がある。日本においてもウェルネスという概念でエリア全体を捉え直すことで、温泉地の価値を向上させるのではないだろうか。本研究は欧州と日本双方の温泉地域において、空間的特性、地域コミュニティや産業との連携等について実証的にデータを収集し比較分析を行う。そして温泉地域の質と価値を高めるマネジメント手法を考察する。
