Outline of Research at the Start

近年、「道の駅」は地域振興や活性化の一つとして期待され、「道の駅」をプラットフォームとして、「道の駅」同士や民間企業、関連団体等へと繋がりを広げ、新たなネットワークを構築し、収益性の高い魅力的な地域づくりの拠点化を目指している。そこで本研究では、プラットフォームとしての「道の駅」をモデル化し、「道の駅」が持つネットワーク効果の大きさを測定することで、「道の駅」のプラットフォームとしての意義と役割を明らかにすることを目的とする。本研究により、「道の駅」の安定的な運営と地域振興に対する貢献の度合を検証することに役立つものと期待される。
