Outline of Research at the Start

ムスリム社会においてジェンダー平等が進展する条件は何か。本研究は国家観に関わらず、ジェンダー平等に向けた思想が形成される可能性を探求する。インドネシアを事例として、イスラーム政治運動がいかにしてジェンダー平等に資する思想を提示し、これを社会に広げることができるのか、その条件を考察する。分析の鍵となるのは、思想（宗教商品）を消費するムスリム社会（市場）の構造変化と供給者である政治運動の戦略である。そして、宗教的アイデンティティを重視する異なる社会階層にジェンダー平等の思想が浸透することが、決定的な要件であることを示す。
