Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、植民地朝鮮において日本の芸妓組合システムである券番が妓生組合にどのように受容されたのかを明らかにすることを目的とする。既存の研究者は、妓生組合が帝国日本により強制的に券番システムに変更された結果、妓生と娼妓の区分が曖昧になったと主張している。しかし漢城妓生組合は1913年に自ら芸妓組合を模倣し、廣橋妓生組合として再組織され、その後京城や地方にも多様な妓生組合が設立されている。また1917年以降、京城の全ての妓生組合は自発的に日本の券番システムを受容し「〇〇券番」に転換されている。この事実を客観的な資料をもとに検証し、妓生組合の自発的な日本券番システムの受容及び変遷過程を明らかにする。
