Outline of Research at the Start	牧場に代表される農畜産業施設は、人と家畜と自然環境が生産技術によって結びついた空間で、近年では動物との触合いや行楽の場としても認識されている。多様な構成要素によって成立している牧場を生きた地域資源として保全していくためには、何らかの形において経済的措置を必要とし、文化的価値と経済的価値を両立させうる持続的維持の視点が必要である。本研究では、明治期以降日本に導入された西洋農法を基盤とした歴史的農畜産業施設および、戦後の観光・レクリエーションの大衆化を背景に開設された農畜産業施設を研究対象とし、対象施設群が経年変化や土地利用変遷、産業構造の変容過程で醸成してきた複合的価値を明らかにしていく。
