Outline of Research at the Start

AI技術の急速な普及に伴って顕在化している個人情報保護違反や著作権侵害といった社会的課題が顕在化している．本研究では，AI研究者と法律家が協力し，個人情報および著作権の保護を踏まえたAI技術の適切な利用方法について，技術的・法的両面から具体的に検討する．個人情報保護に関しては，分散的に学習を行う「連合学習」や，AIモデルから特定の学習データの影響を消去する「マシンアンラーニング」などの手法を使った技術を検討し，プライバシー保護を強化する．一方，著作権の面では，生成AIと著作物との関係が複雑化する要因となる検索拡張生成（RAG）などの技術を対象に，その影響や課題を整理する．
