Outline of Research at the Start	公共図書館における「複数人による読書」のプログラムは、地域における社会的包摂の効果を持つソーシャルリーディング（SR）として再開発されてきている。本研究は、北欧および日本における公共図書館のSRの実態を解明したうえで、比較分析し、その意義と社会的効果を詳述することを目的とする。近年のSRは地域社会の連帯の形成を促す読書形態として注目されているが、その実態や効果については十分に検証されていない。本研究では、読書先進国の北欧と人口減少が課題となっている日本を対象とし、SRの変遷、現代的特徴、参加者および地域社会への影響を質と量の両面から分析し、図書館におけるSRの可能性を理論的・実践的に示す。
