Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は，社会のグローバル化に伴い必要な日本法に関する情報を迅速・網羅的かつ国際的に発信するために，法令改正に伴う英訳法令の修正を支援する機械翻訳技術の開発を目的とする．特に，法令の英訳の際，訳文の適切性・流暢性に加え，旧条文の改正箇所に対する英訳だけを修正し，非改正箇所に対する英訳は不必要に修正しないで旧訳を用いるという訳文の修正極小性を要求する．
そのために，新訳文生成時に旧訳文の単語を複写できる翻訳モデルCTTの性能向上を図る．特に，条文に対してフレーズの挿入・置換を行う改正を模倣し，学習データを大規模に自動生成するデータ拡張を行う．
