Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、日常的に着用されていた近代衣生活資料のうち、何らかの理由で切り取られた状態で現存する着物の「裂地」に着目する。元の状態をとどめていない裂地から素材や文様、装飾、時代性など様々な情報を読み取ることが可能であるにも関わらず、資料としての重要度や保存対象としての優先度は低い傾向があり、結果として失われる可能性が高い現状がある。そこで本研究では、デジタルアーカイブに向けたデータベース構築をおこなうことで、そもそも文化的な資料としてあまり認識されにくい、裂地を含めた近代衣生活資料の保存や活用に繋がり、幅広い研究分野に寄与することを目的とする。
