Outline of Research at the Start

高い認知能力を示すオウム・インコは比較認知の魅力的な研究対象だが、研究施設で多数の中・大型のオウム・インコを飼育するのは難しい。そこで、本研究は愛鳥家からトリの認知に関わる行動データの提供を受けるシステムを作り、学術的に価値ある課題に取り組みつつ、その可用性を評価する。
さらに、この過程を通じて得られた経験を、動物福祉・愛護に関わる社会の動向と調和した比較認知科学の持続的発展の方法として提案する。
また、一般社会との関わりを通じて、シチズンサイエンス・オープンサイエンスを促進する。
