Outline of Research at the Start

脳血管疾患患者は、歩行時に装具を必要とすることが多い。急性期および回復期の装具処方に関するエビデンスは十分に揃っているが、生活期における報告は少なく、生活期では不適切な装具処方が散見される。われわれは、身体機能から歩行に適切な短下肢装具を決定できるアルゴリズムを作成した。
本研究の目的は、アルゴリズムを簡便に使用できるソフトウェアを開発し、そのソフトウ
ェアを用いることで一般病院や施設における処方が改善するかを検証することである。本研究は、京都府の身体障害者更生相談所と共同で行う大規模な研究であり、短下肢装具を必要とする脳血管疾患患者の多くに適切な装具が行き渡ることでADLの向上が期待される。
