Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、意識障害がある特別養護老人ホーム（以下、特養）入居者に対する離床ケアを、生理的指標を用いて見直す評価手法の構築をめざしている。我々は、意識障害がある特養入居者のストレスに焦点を当て、ケアの前後で唾液アミラーゼの値を測定してきた。検定の結果、有意なストレス上昇がみられたのは、離床ケアであった。しかし、離床によるストレス上昇の理由は、さまざまなストレス要因が想定されたものの、個別のストレス要因を特定できなかった。また、唾液量の少ない方に対する測定の限界にも直面した。そこで、唾液アミラーゼ値に加えて心拍変動の測定を併用して、意識障害のある特養入居者の離床ケアの評価を行うこととした。
