Outline of Research at the Start

戦後の日本思想史学は日本近世儒教の研究を行いながらも、朱熹『家礼』の受容の問題を殆ど扱ってこなかった。しかし近年進展を見た儒礼研究は、日本近世を生きた多くの儒者が同書の喪祭礼を重視していた事実を漸く明らかにしつつある。
そこで本研究は、こうした近年の儒礼研究を発展的に継承すべく、『家礼』の喪祭礼が、日本近世の大名家・天皇家・公家といった儒者以外の多様な人々に及ぼした影響、ならびに日本近代の「神道的」な葬儀・祭祀形成に与えた影響を思想史的に解明しようと試みる。それにより、『家礼』の喪祭礼という視点から日本近世儒教理解の更新、ならびに近世・近代を通観する思想史的視座の構築を目指す。
