Outline of Research at the Start

日本語動詞におけるヲ／ニ格交替の選択要因および、ヲ／ニ格交替を許容する動詞の特徴を明らかにする。現代日本語には「ひどい仕打ち｛を／に｝耐える」のように、ヲ、ニが交替可能で意味上の大きな差異がないように見える動詞が存在する。感情を表す動詞を中心に、感情を表す動詞以外の交替可の動詞を含め、それぞれの格形式を取った場合の差異・選択要因の共通項と、交替を許容する動詞の特徴を明らかにする。本研究課題により、周辺的に扱われてきたヲ格とニ格の近接する部分の機能の実態と、格体制決定の一要因が明らかになると考える。さらに歴史的共時態、通時的変化の様相を明らかにし、ヲ格・ニ格機能変化の可能性の解明に寄与する。
