Outline of Research at the Start

冠詞はインプットの中で最も多い文法事項にも関わらず、日本の英語学習者はその習得に困難を抱えている。そこで、冠詞習得の認知プロセスを解明することは、第二言語習得の理論構築だけでなく、新たな指導法の提言にもつながる。しかし、これまでに冠詞知識を測定する文法テストは開発されておらず、英語冠詞の文法性判断に関わる神経基盤は明らかにされてこなかった。そこで、文法テストの正誤データだけでなく、学習者の冠詞能力の時系列変化の神経・心理言語学的手法による定量化が必要となる。本研究は外国語教育・言語テスト・心理言語学・神経言語学などの分野横断型のアプローチで、文法問題に関する妥当性を検証する。
