Outline of Research at the Start

The proposed research aims to develop an innovative L2 writing pedagogical framework that prioritizes students’ thinking processes over final written products, fostering sustainable learning. To achieve this, I will investigate students’ perceptions as they engage in guided genre-based needs identification and scaffolded personalized autonomous learning within genre-based writing classes. It seeks to facilitate autonomous learning while maximizing the benefit of the instructional environment.
