Outline of Research at the Start

日本の少子化や人口減少の要因である人口の東京一極集中は、地方大都市から都区部への継続的な人口移動および都区部での人口滞留によって生じている。そのメカニズムは移動者のライフスタイルからの考察が有効である。本研究では、都区部と地方大都市を調査対象として、第1に、若年人口のライフスタイルの実態を把握し、第2に、都区部特有のライフスタイルが若年人口の東京圏残留に与える影響を考察する。そして第3に、若年人口が都区部特有のライフスタイルを地方都市で実現する可能性について検討する。
