Outline of Research at the Start

政府による人件費削減が市民の政府に対する評価に及ぼす影響は、日本と他国ではどのように異なり、その影響を変化させることは可能なのであろうか。これらの問いに応えるため、本研究は2つのサーベイ実験を実施する。第一に、財政悪化局面における公務員の人件費削減が、市民の政府に対する評価に及ぼす影響と、行政サービス悪化の懸念による媒介効果を、サーベイ実験を通じて明らかにする。日本とOECD4か国での実験結果を比較し、日本の特質を浮き彫りにする。第二に、日本のサンプルに対し、日本の公務員数や人件費の少なさという情報を提供した際、人件費削減の影響がどのように変化するのかを実験的に検証する。
