Outline of Research at the Start

大規模専業酪農は、牛群・個体管理、土壌改良、草地管理といった異なる性質の技術の束によって成立しており、それら技術は主に欧米から移転されている。しかし戦後開拓地における中山間地域酪農、大規模農業開発プロジェクトにより創出された草地酪農、都市近郊酪農など、異なる条件下において大規模専業酪農経営の成立に至るまで、各地域の事情に応じた技術の束がいかに形成されたかについては、未解明である。教育機関、畜産試験場、酪農指導員、海外農業研修といった媒介により個別に伝えられる新規技術を、酪農家がいかに意味のある技術体系として編み上げ在地化し受容していったのか、技術の結節点としての人に着目して解明する。
