本研究は、企業がビジネスモデル・イノベーション（BMI）を実現する直前段階（Pre-stage）に焦点を当て、制度未整備・社会受容の遅れ・インフラ不足などの多様な制約が「エコシステム」の発展とともにどう変化し、解消されるかに注目し、インドや日本、欧州の先進都市におけるスタートアップ企業の時系列的な事例調査を通じて、企業がこれら制約にいかに戦略的に対応し、BMIを達成したかを明らかにすることで、組織戦略とエコシステムの関係性を理論化し、実務と学術の両面に貢献する。The research aims at clarifying organizational strategy of the pre-stage of achieving Business Model Innovation.
