Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、父親の育休取得を事例として、職場や居住地域において性別分業規範を変容させる社会的実践が採用され、伝播するのに有効となる構造的条件を探るものである。具体的には、ピーター・ブラウらの古典的な議論や社会的ネットワーク研究の知見に基づいて、「属性パラメータの連結」という人口構成上の特性に着目し、国内外の社会調査データとサーベイ実験を用いて、その条件とメカニズムを明らかにする。従来の研究で指摘されてきた、男性の家事や育児への参加といったジェンダー平等化を支える実践が、社会的に有利な層によって主導され、その後他の層に普及するプロセスを実証的に検討する。
