Outline of Research at the Start

自殺総合対策大綱（2007年閣議決定、2022年改定）では、社会における「生きることの阻害要因（自殺のリスク要因）」を減らし、「生きることの促進要因（自殺に対する保護要因）」を増やす方向で進める必要性を強調している。
この点を踏まえて本研究では、韓国において高齢者の自殺予防に成果を上げている「マウルコミュニティ」に着目する。韓国の「マウルコミュニティ」は、「居場所」としての機能に加え、社会参加や雇用創出を促進する取り組みとして注目される。このように、日本と韓国における高齢者の自殺に対する保護要因を増やす仕組みとして、新たな支援コミュニティの必要性とその実現可能性を探ることを目的とする。
